885 evacuated as bombed Nova Kakhovka dam floods battle zone | Why Putin, Zelensky Are Worried
A state of emergency has been declared in areas around the destroyed Soviet-era dam in Nova Kakhovka in South Ukraine's Kherson region. Ukraine has claimed that it evacuated 885 people as the destroyed dam began flooding 10 villages along the Dnipro River at Kherson frontline. Ukraine has even begun investigating the blast as a war crime.
