From SP-SBSP-RLD alliance to BSP and AIMIM, every party has in some way or the other given tickets to wives and sons of criminals who are behind bars. For example, Samajwadi Party ally SBSP fielded gangster-turned-politicians Mukhtar Ansari's elder son Abbas in Mau Sadar seat.
