India has silently deployed two stealth destroyers off the coast of Aden in wake of increasing Houthi attacks in the Red Sea. INS Kochi and INS Kolkata have been deployed near the Houthi area to protect merchant ships from pirate attacks, reported Hindustan Times. Meanwhile, the United States announced the formation of a 10-nation naval force to protect sea-borne traffic in the region. Houthi rebels, backed by Iran, denounced the U.S.-led task force, and vowed to continue its attacks that the militants claim are to put international pressure on Israel to stop its war in Gaza.
