Mamata Banerjee continued to cry foul over the election result of Nandigram where she lost to BJP’S Suvendu Adhikari by under 2000 votes. Mamata alleged that the returning officer of Nandigram was threatened against recounting of votes. She further alleged that the server was down for about 4 hours, there was load shedding and machines were also replaced. ‘What is the fear, anyone can ask for it officially. Why would they not allow recounting of votes? Why did the election commission not allow it? Mamata asked. She further said that they had never seen such ‘mafiagiri’ & added they would definitely go to court over the issue. TMC beat BJP in the high pitched electoral battle in West Bengal.
