“Expelled amid traffic jam…”: Harak Rawat breaks down; Will switch to Cong

In a midnight move, the Uttarakhand BJP expelled MLA Harak Singh Rawat from the party citing indiscipline. The BJP claimed that it will not tolerate any anti-party activities in the decision just ahead of the assembly elections in Uttarakhand. After the expulsion, Rawat had an emotional breakdown during which he confirmed that he will be joining the Congress soon. Harak Singh Rawat, a former Congress leader had rebelled against the party in 2016.
