Watch | Dogs takeover New York park in Halloween costumes
Hundreds of costumed dogs descended on a New York City park for what's billed as the largest Halloween dog parade in US.Thousands of spectators mingled Saturday with about 300 four-legged contestants near the stage in Manhattan's Tompkins Square Park.Every imaginable breed was paraded one by one to preen before judges in the hopes of a Best in Show award.There were doggy dinosaurs, an alligator and a fisherman. There also were characters from “The Wizard of Oz” and “The Flintstones” and a dog dressed as Pope Francis.
