‘Hell For Us’: Yemenis Fear Gaza-Like Future After Biden Slaps ‘Terror’ Tag On Iran-Backed Houthis

People of Yemen are fearing that the United States’ decision to designate Houthis as “global terrorists” could be devastating for them. The Biden administration relisted Houthis as Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGP) on February 16 in an attempt to stop the Red Sea attacks by the Iran-backed militants. Yemenis, however, fear that they could be the real victims of the U.S action. The terror tag on Houthis could stifle flow of aid to Yemen and devastate the already destroyed economy of the country.
