India Fumes After Khalistani Extremists In Canada Display Float Glorifying Indira Gandhi’s Killing

India will lodge a formal complaint with Canada over Khalistani radicals' float depicting the assassination of late Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi outside the Indian consulate in Vancouver on June 6. The float was part of a protest on the 40th anniversary of Operation Bluestar. A senior Indian official told the Hindustan Times that the formal diplomatic complaint, a note verbale, will be conveyed to Global Affairs Canada.
