A ship in the Red Sea was slightly damaged after it was ‘struck by an unknown object’, reported Reuters. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency reported the incident. The crew of the ship was safe and the vessel continued its planned journey. Yemen’s Houthi rebels have been staging attacks on cargo ships in Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab strait and the Gulf Of Aden since November 2023 in solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing war in Gaza.
