J&K: After Attack On Tourists, BJP Leader's Murder, Farooq's 'Terrorists Or Our People' Remark

Former Jammu and Kashmir CM and National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah called for “international probe” into killings by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. This comes a day after twin terror attacks rocked the Valley amid the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Abdullah was referring to killing of ex-sarpanch and BJP leader Aijaz Ahmad Sheikh, who was gunned down by terrorists in Shopian on May 18. Apart from him, a tourist couple from Rajasthan was injured in a separate terrorist attacks in Anantnag. The terrorist attacks in J&K came nearly two days ahead of the LS polls in Baramulla.
