Modi's popularity spreads to China; PM nicknamed 'The Immortal' by Chinese netizens | Report

PM Narendra Modi is reverentially referred to as 'The Immortal' by Chinese netizens, according to journalist Mu Chushan writing for The Diplomat. In an article titled 'How Is India Viewed In china?' Mu Chunshan says that most Chinese feel that India under PM Modi can maintain a balance among major nations. Mu Chunshan is known for analysing Chinese social media, especially Sina Weibo.
