A deadly avalanche struck the Draupadi Danda-2 mountain in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district today. As per PTI report, 10 mountaineers have died so far, while 8 have been rescued. SDRF, NDRF, ITBP and Indian Air Force are hunting for 23 others who are still trapped in the snow. 41 people from the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering were completing a course at the mountain when the avalanche struck. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh have offered condolences. Watch this video for more details.
