'Hindus, stay away from Father and Chaadar': BJP MLA's speech sparks controversy

Bharatiya Janata Party legislator sparked a controversy with a speech delivered at a Dussehra event in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal. Rameshwar Sharma advised Hindus to stay away from 'Father' and 'Chaadar', which were believed to be references to Christian evangelists, and blankets offered at Dargahs respectively. He also asked his supporters to raise 'Jai Shri Ram' slogans whenever they meet him.
