India and Saudi Arabia have kicked off their first-ever military drill in Rajasthan's Bikaner. The inaugural joint drill, Sada Tanseeq, is being held from January 29 to February 10. The Saudi Arabian contingent comprises 45 personnel from the Royal Saudi Land Forces, while India is being represented by an equal number of troops from mechanised infantry. The mega-military exercise comes amid tensions in the Middle East region. India has been bolstering its ties with countries in the region to enhance security.
