Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari received death threats on Saturday. Gadkari's Nagpur office received three calls from an unknown caller on the BSNL landline. The first call was made at 11.25 am, the second call was made at 11.32 am, and the third call was received at 12.32 pm. Nagpur police and the cyber cell have begun an investigation, and speech analysis of the caller is being done.
