PoK erupts in protests against Pakistan bid to alter constitutional status
A shutdown was observed in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir capital Muzaffarabad today against the proposed move of Islamabad to implement 15th Amendment, which seeks to alter the constitutional status of the region. Thousands of people shouting pro-Independence slogans hit streets in PoK capital against the proposed move which they see as an attempt to curtail the regional government's powers.
