Rajasthan CM claims 56% rape cases are false; NCW chief says, ‘Gehlot in denial'

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sparked off a major controversy by claiming hat 56% rape cases is his state were false. Interacting with the media, Gehlot claimed that more than half of the cases of crimes against women in the state were fake. BJP has hit back at Gehlot, accusing him of mocking the rape victims and demanded his apology. NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma on the other hand claimed that Gehlot was in denial over the NCRB data.
