Sadhus dragged, thrashed for being ‘child-lifters’ in Sangli; Villagers arrested

Four Sadhus were dragged out of a car, thrashed with sticks and beaten with belts in Maharashtra's Sangli district, after an angry mob suspected them to be child-lifters. This after rumours of child lifting went viral on social media. Several viral videos on Twitter show how these Sadhus from Uttar Pradesh's Mathura were beaten up. Maharashtra police have now arrested six villagers in the connection to the case. Watch this video to find out what happened.
