Uttarakhand: Nine killed as car gets washed away in Dhela River

Nine people were killed after a car they were traveling in fell into the swollen Dhela river in Uttarakhand. Only one family member, a 22-year-old girl, was rescued alive and has been admitted to the hospital. The tragic incident took place early this morning in the Ramnagar area after the ill-fated car got washed away due to the strong current in the river induced by heavy rainfall. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the deaths and expressed sympathy to the kin of the deceased. Watch this video to know more.
