Watch: Accused of cutting sacred tree, mob beats man to death in Jharkhand

In a shocking incident, a man was brutally lynched to death in Jharkhand by an angry mob on Tuesday for allegedly hurting religious sentiments by cutting and selling parts of a tree. According to police, around 100 to 150 people lynched the victim, Sanju Pradhan, to death. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed the police to conduct a probe into the matter.
