Five days after a man was lynched in Punjab's Kapurthala over the charges of sacrilege, Chief MInister Charanjit Singh Channi has revealed that the sacrilege claim was false. Channi told reporters that there is no proof of sacrilege and assured action against the accused who lynched a man on the charges of disrespecting Nishan Sahib at a local Gurudwara in Kapurthala on last Sunday. The incident at Kapurthala came barely a day after sacrilege attempt inside Golden Temple where a mob had lynched the accused after he jumped into sanctum sanctorum. Watch this report for more.
