Russia’s Powerful Push Towards City Bordering Bakhmut; After Avdiivka, Chasiv Yar To Fall Next?

Russia is reportedly making a powerful push to breach Ukrainian defences around Chasiv Yar city in Donetsk region. This comes after the fall of Avdiivka town in Donbas region. Ukrainian forces have admitted that they are having a hard time stopping the Russian advances, especially in the wake of waning western military support. The Chasiv Yar city borders Bakhmut which was captured by Russia in May last year. With no surety of future military aid by U.S.-led western nations, Kyiv is fearing losing more territory to Russia.
