Since the beginning of ethnic violence in Manipur in May this year, several videos of unrest, arson, clashes and protests have surfaced. But on Wednesday, a horrific video popped up on social media and it has forced India to hang its head in shame for failing the women of Manipur. The video shows a rabid mob groping, assaulting, molesting and parading two women naked. This video was from Manipur's Kangpoki and the incident allegedly took place on May 3. It took over 70 days and the video to go viral on social media for the state to swing into action. The details not just expose lapses on part of the state police but also ignorance of the state government and the Chief Minister. There is outrage across the country.
