U.S. Ally 'Ditches' Israel; Norway 'Ready To Recognise Palestinian State' After Spain | Watch

A big pro-Palestine movement is being spearheaded by the U.S.' NATO ally Spain in Europe. Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez held a meeting with Norway's Jonas Gahr Store in Oslo to discuss the statehood issue of Palestine. After the meeting, Norway's Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store said his country "stands ready" to recognise the sovereignty of Palestine and its full membership in the United Nations. Meanwhile, Sanchez said that Spain wants to recognise Palestine "as soon as possible,” leveraging the move as a way to gain momentum for a definitive peace process.
