Chhattisgarh CM sits on floor at airport: Baghel vs UP govt amid Lakhimpur row

Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel was stopped by Uttar Pradesh cops at Lucknow airport on Tuesday. The Congress-ruled state’s CM was also recently appointed as a senior poll observer for upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh. Baghel sat on a dharna inside the airport after officials stopped him from leaving the airport. Earlier, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi was detained on her way to Lakhimpur Kheri as she wanted to visit the families of farmers who died in violence. Eight people, including four farmers, were killed in clashes following farmers’ protest in Lakhimpur on October 3. Watch the full video for more details.
