‘I hate India’: Texas woman held for racist attack on Indian-Americans in U.S

Note: Graphic and racist language A Mexican-American woman has been arrested from Texas for hurling racist slurs and assaulting a group of four Indian-American women. The video, first posted on Facebook, is going viral on social media drawing sharp criticism. In the five-and-a-half minute video, the woman, identified as Esmeralda Upton, is seen striking one person in the face, swiping at the phones of two of the women filming the incident, and then threatening them. She hurls racist slurs like, 'I hate you Indians', 'You Indians are everywhere' and 'Go back to India.' The incident took place on Wednesday outside the Sixty Vines restaurant in Texas' Plano and the woman has now been arrested. Watch this video for more.
