'Imran Khan is RSS': Pak PM Sharif drags Indian outfit into PTI's anti-govt protests

There is no end to the ongoing clash between former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan and Shehbaz Sharif's coalition government. The Pakistani government is now considering banning Imran's party, Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), after over 10,000 armed punjab policemen stormed his Lahore house and 'seized' weapons. Pak PM said that Imran Khan showed 'militant tendencies' in the last few days and also equated him and his party with India's "Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh" (RSS). Pakistan's interior minister, Rana Sanaullah, said legal opinion is being sought to declare PTI a 'proscribed outfit'. This comes after ruling PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz called for a ban on Imran's PTI. Pak govt is also angry with the courts alleging 'special treatment' to Imran Khan.  #imrankhan #shehbazsharif #rss #pakistan #expakpm #formerpakpm #rashtriyaswayamsevaksangh #arrest #toshakhanacase #pti #pakistantehreekeinsaf Hindustan Times Videos bring you news, views and explainers about current issues in India and across the globe.
