Jenin in the West Bank experienced the deadliest of all clashes in years as Israel forces battled Islamic Jihad and Hamas militants in one of the refugee camps. Intense fire-fight took place between the two and Israel Defence Forces claims that three militants have been eliminated. However, Reuters reported that nine people were killed in the clashes, including an elderly woman while 20 others were injured.
