After incidents involving pagers and walkie-talkies, a new type of device has begun to explode in Lebanon, leading to fresh blasts that rocked the country just hours after panic ensued from the earlier walkie-talkie detonations. Meanwhile, reports indicated that explosives were even discovered in an ambulance at the American University Hospital. In Nabatieh, firefighters extinguished over 60 fires resulting from such incidents. Earlier in the day, fresh blasts left 300 people injured and at least 9 dead.
