Musk wants price cut in $44 Bn Twitter deal; Here’s why bots could be the reason
Tesla boss Elon Musk hinted that he would like to pay less for Twitter than his $44 billion offer. At a conference, he reportedly said a viable deal at a lower price would not be out of the question. Musk estimated that at least 20% of Twitter's 229 million accounts are spam bots. “Currently what I’m being told is that there’s just no way to know the number of bots. It’s like, as unknowable as the human soul,” said Musk at a conference in Miami, according to a Bloomberg report. This came a few hours after Elon Musk began trolling Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal.
