Russian troops in Kazakhstan as violence grips country over fuel price protests

Russian troops are in Kazakhstan to quell a deadly unrest that swept the country after protests over surge in fuel prices. Russian forces arrived in the crisis-hit Kazakhstan on the request of country's president as the days of violence left 'dozens' dead and more than a thousand injured. Nearly 2500 people have been detained as Kazakhstan government declared a state of emergency in the country.
