Saudi authorities execute highest number of Pak nationals amid hanging spree - report

Saudi Arabia has gained a reputation as one of the world's largest executioners. A U.K.-based NGO called Reprieve said the kingdom hanged 1,243 people in the last decade, and most of the people who are put to death are from Pakistan. Reprieve said in its report that 164 Pakistanis were executed in the last decade. The Kingdom also hanged 147 people in 2022, the highest number of executions in a single year.
