Taliban officials targeted at Afghanistan mosque; 13 killed in Badakhshan suicide bombing

A bomb ripped through a memorial service in Afghanistan's Badakhshan, killing at least 13 people. A former Taliban police official was reportedly among those killed and over 30 were injured in the alleged suicide bombing near Nabawi Mosque. The bombing reportedly targeted the memorial service for Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi, the deputy governor of Badakhshan killed in a car bombing on Tuesday.
