U.S. on alert as Chinese ‘spy balloon’ spotted over Nuclear launch site; Biden briefed | Details
A Chinese "spy" balloon suspected of being used to surveil a nuclear missile launch site has been spotted flying into U.S. airspace. The Pentagon said that it is tracking the Chinese balloon flying over Montana, home of one of the nation's three nuclear missile launch facilities at Malmstrom Air Force Base. The Pentagon also decided not to shoot down the balloon for fear of injuring people on the ground. Meanwhile, U.S. President Joe Biden has been briefed on the incident. This comes ahead of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's first visit to Beijing, expected this weekend. Watch this video to know more.
