U.S. Rattled By Iran's 400 Ballistic Missile Sale To Russia; Vows Sanctions In Warning To Tehran

The U.S. has threatened Iran with severe sanctions amid reports that it sold 400 ballistic missiles to Russia amid its war in Ukraine. The U.S. also said that it will take the matter to the UN Security Council. Reuters reported that Iran sent 400 powerful ballistic missiles to Russia in January. These missiles include many from the Fateh-110 family of short-range ballistic weapons, such as the Zolfaghar. They are capable of striking targets at a distance of between 300-700 km.
