USA's $230 Million Failure In Gaza: Military-Built Aid Pier Can't Handle... | Israel Vs Hamas

The Gaza aid pier built by the US military has been facing repeated problems ever since it became operational in May. The floating pier, built at a cost of $230 million, proved to be fragile in the face of high seas and rough weather. According to a report in The Guardian, the pier has been usable for just 12 days since it began operations on May 17. In its entire course of operation so far, about 250 truckloads of food and other humanitarian assistance (4,100 metric tonnes) have been delivered into the devastated coastal enclave.
