Important steps to make sure you apply sunscreen the correct way
Proper sunscreen application is essential to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays, which cause sunburn, premature aging and even skin cancer.

First start by selecting the proper sunscreen. Sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 is mandatory. Also make sure to factor in your skin conditions while you choose sunscreen. Do a patch test if it's new.

Use the two-finger sunscreen application method. Squeeze sunscreen on index and middle finger for a more even coverage of sunscreen on face.

Don't forget to apply your sunscreen on your hands, neck, and basically any area which is exposed to the sun. Very often, people forget to apply elsewhere, focusing only on the face.

Don't apply sunscreen right before you leave. Apply the sunscreen at least 20 minutes before you step outside. By that time, it gets absorbed and starts to work.

Reapply sunscreen every two hours to maintain consistent protection. Oil and environmental factors break down sunscreen over time, so reapplication is crucial for effectiveness.
