Paris Olympics 2024: Manu Bhaker, Sarobjot Singh win bronze

Shooters Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh won India's second medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 on July 30. The team won bronze in the 10m mixed team air pistol event.

Bhaker and Singh qualified for the bronze medal match outperforming South Korea by 16-19 win to double India's medal count at shooting.

Earlier, Manu scripted history by becoming the first Indian woman shooter to win a medal at the Olympics in the women's shooting 10m air pistol event.

Manu is now the first athlete of independent India to win multiple medals at a single Olympic Games.

Sarabjot and Manu both hit 10.4, totaling 20.8 points. India increased their lead to 6-2 with another series win as Manu and Sarabjot scored 20.7 against Korea's 20.5.

While Manu Bhaker hails from Haryana's Jhajjar, Sarabjot Singh is from Dheen village of Ambala in Haryana.
